COMPLETED: PMI® Project Management Office Certified Professional (PMI-PMOCP)™

In March, I shared that I was working toward my third PMI credential, the PMO Certified Practitioner (PMI-PMOCP). I’m happy to share that in June, I passed the exam and earned the certification.

I wanted to do this certification because it stretches me in all the right ways and further connects the dots between value, governance, and outcomes. It sharpens my understanding of how a strategically run PMO with clear value delivery can create real, lasting business impact.

It feels meaningful to add this certification after two decades of project and program experience—starting way back in 2009 with my first taste of PMO life in a Malaysian general insurance company. From then to now, the journey has been insightful and full of evolution.

What’s next? My next certification will be the PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)®. This is planned for 2026.
