In Progress: PMI® Project Management Office Certified Professional (PMI-PMOCP)™

This year, I’m stepping into a new learning project—working toward my third certification—the PMO Certified Practitioner (PMI-PMOCP) credential by PMI.

This endeavour is more than just adding another certification to my name. I’m doing this to further enhance my understanding of how a well-run PMO (Project Management Office) can drive real business value. I see it as a chance to grow strategically and support by delivering the results that matter.

My first PMO exposure was in 2009—more than 16 years ago! At that time, I was working with a general insurance company in Malaysia. I’ve gathered almost two decades of experience in program or project management to date, but there’s always room for improvement and plenty of learning opportunities.

My target is to complete this in Q2 2025.
